In a festive and family spirit, the event’s village covering a surface area of 500 m2 by the water’s edge in the Parc des Rives de Lac, in Yverdon-les-Bains, will host the teams and the public throughout the week.
Organized in the form of paddocks, freely accessible to visitors, the village will offer a unique chance to admire the races and the educational facilities. In these workspaces, the teams will store boats and equipment, and carry out the necessary repairs and optimizations for the races. There will also be a bar to make the HYDROCONTEST a pleasant experience to be shared with family and friends.
The public will be able to follow the racing in real time from the lakeside and will capture the full intensity of the competition. People will also be able to exchange freely with the participating students.
Finally, the week will be punctuated each evening by technical meetings called “Pitch Session”, organized in the form of presentations, with the intervention of the participating teams. They will present their respective projects and share with other students, and all interested visitors, the result of several months of intense research, design and preparation leading up to the HYDROCONTEST-X competition.
